On May 21st, 2025, the "Yuexiang Cup" Zhejiang Longjing Tea Frying Skills Competition will be held simultaneously with the International Tea Expo at the 3D Preface Hall of Hangzhou International Expo Center.
It is understood that this year's contestants are divided into two groups based on age: the new group and the peak group. The new group contestants must be over 18 years old and under 35 years old, while the peak group contestants must be over 35 years old and under 60 years old. After the frying process is completed, the evaluation experts conduct sensory evaluation on the tea samples of the competition. Based on the score of sensory evaluation, the winners of the peak group competition are awarded the titles of "Zhejiang Longjing Tea Master" and "2025 Zhejiang Longjing Tea Frying Expert", while the winners of the emerging group competition are awarded the titles of "Zhejiang Longjing Tea Rookie" and "2025 Zhejiang Longjing Tea Youth Frying Expert".
